What is greatness? Is it wealth, fame or influence? Those we deeply admire in life, why do we admire them. Is it the confidence in their gait, the passion in their voices or the spark in their eyes?
If you have been to a big stage, where your word is respected and your worth adored. Where hundreds, or thousands or even tens of thousands or millions adore you, you will probably know one thing. That true greatness does not lie in our ability to change the whole world, but in our effort to try and change the world of one.
Claps and adoration of the multitude, matter less, as a sincere look into your eye, by one person you truly touched, when they say thank you. It’s this, that which is not highlighted by the media or spoken in low tones that, truly touches hearts.
Those who are great, in the end know, that life is not about moving mountains, or the greatest discoveries or the greatest positions or influence. They come to appreciate, that true greatness, is having the confidence to take a step when the moment calls, perhaps, not helping everyone in the world, but reaching out to the one who need you, perhaps not providing solutions to all the problems, but solving the little problem just before you.
Those who are truly great are the ones who know to remain true to every little step in their lives. So, in the thought that you have now, the tiny hope that you hold, the smallest act of kindness that you do, when doing that, do it- like it will define your entire life’s worth. For then, you will be truly great.
Have a great Wednesday dear Friends!
